Probably, every mature Kenyan has heard of Churchill show. Churchill started his show a couple years back and is still filled with energy. We have seen a lot of shows come and go, but Churchill has braved the challenges and stayed longer than most of us had predicted. In the words of estranged rapper Kanye West, giving money and food donations is the lowest form of charity while creating an industry is the highest form of charity. Churchill has created a magnanimous industry dubbed the 'Laugh Industry.'

However, most of us have overlooked the effect of the show to Kenyans and African comedians. Churchill show has nurtured most comedians who are extremely successful today. Majority of these comedians have further landed on lucrative opportunities in various places, and the ripple effect is wide and deep.

This industry through its founder Churchill, has touched the lives of thousands, created jobs for many, rehabilitated hundreds and put a smile on millions of his audience. Churchill has celebrated several icons in his show, but truth be told, Churchill deserves a lifetime achievement award. This guy, has a hand of God in him. Hats off for Churchill!
